Craft of the Lost Art is the first album by Jneiro Jarel with his project group Shape Of Broad Minds. The group is Jneiro Jarel, three of Jarel's characters, and multi-instrumentalist Jawwaad Taylor. The group is partly make-believe, with Jarel really playing several members of the group, (much like Kool Keith under the Dr. Octagon alias, or Madlib and his Yesterday's New Quintet alias), but the schizophrenic nature of the group allows Panama Black, an MC from Atlanta, to explore alongside them.

The members of the group include:

The album also includes cameos from DOOM, Count Bass D, Stacy Epps and John Robinson.
